Because portraiture is such an old tradition, I find it thrilling to challenge myself to find new ways of creating colorful, interesting portrayals of people. Works featured on my website were taken with my Panasonic Lumix FZ20, except for one that was taken with my Olympus OM2 35mm SLR. Like many photographers, I have gotten caught up in the digital revolution. However, I still have respect and longing for the unbeatable depth resulting from film.
